Glovebox

Six steps. You end up with one plain summary of what happened, ready to screenshot or copy into the message you send your insurer.

If you're at the scene right now, put the phone down and take photos instead. Get the shots and the other driver's card first. This tool is for once you're parked somewhere safe and you're turning those photos and scribbles into something you can send.

What you'll fill in

  • 1The other driver: name, phone, insurance company and policy number
  • 2Their car: make, model, year, color, plate
  • 3Where and when, plus the weather and the road
  • 4The six photos, checked off against what you actually got
  • 5Witnesses
  • 6The officer and the report number

Every step is skippable. A blank field is left out of the summary instead of printing an empty label, so a half-filled one still reads fine.
